Brené Brown, author of The Power of Vulnerability, perfectly dispels the common belief that vulnerability equals weakness.
She states that in fact it is our most accurate measure of courage:

“When we dare to drop the armour that protects us from feeling vulnerable, we open ourselves up to the experiences that bring purpose and meaning to our lives.”

What would happen if we embraced our vulnerability? What if we removed our masks and costumes that keep us ‘safe’ and hidden? What if we realised that we are just human beings, living amongst other human beings?

How many new connections could we make? How much more understood by others could we feel, and how much more wholesome could our relationships become?

I invite you all to connect to your vulnerability and allow it to be present in all your relationships, especially your work relationships.
Please allow your clients to witness your vulnerability and allow them the space to express theirs. This will lead to a greater feeling of togetherness and more effective teamwork, which are two of our core values at Illuminate.
